Isla del Coco

 

General Information

It is located in the Pacific Ocean at 532 kilometers from Cabo Blanco in Costa Rica. The island is considered a natural laboratory for the study of the evolution of species. It was extremely wet, some 7,000 mm per year and is covered with a forest siempreverde, which presents cloud condition at Cerro Churches, 634 meters. Cocos Island is a territory rich landscape and a true laboratory for the study of nature. Many ferns, bromeliads, rivers, creeks and waterfalls, valleys, cliffs and islets frequented by countless seabirds and gulls nesting site for birds and silly. Going to Cocos Island

OKEANOS

Okeanos has transported divers and people interested in the island in general for over 15 years, maintaining a balance between adventure and conservation of natural resources. The island has no infrastructure, so the only way to get there is by boat, after a navigation 36 hours from the point of embarkation, Puntarenas.

The ship has cabins, kitchen, main dining room, indoor diving platform diving terrace and bar.

Alcyone:

Rock Dirty:
A large island with cardúmenes of striped marble head hammer.

Solitary Stone:
Cardúmenes of marble stripes and stripes mobula.

Manuelita:
The northeast corner has a vertical wall. A lot of white tip sharks, rays and marble cardúmenes of rabirrubias from above.

Ubing Rock, Wafer Bay:
