The popular town of Monteverde is located in the province of Puntarenas. It was founded in 1950 by a group of North American Quakers that mainly use their lands as dairy farms, thus producing milk and its other dairy products.

As the years went by, the inhabitants of Monteverde became aware of the natural wealth that this region offered; and nowadays it has received international recognition as a major tropical fauna and flora sanctuary. It is, without a doubt, a paradise for any nature lover.

Monteverde lodges six different eco-zones, with elevations that go from 1.300 to 1.800 meters above sea level, and it enjoys temperatures that produce an enviable and incredible biodiversity, such as 400 species of birds, including the shining Quetzal, 2.500 species of plants, 120 species of amphibians, and 100 species of mammals among others.

100% Adventure was created thanks to the original vision of its proprietors, whose desire to conserve the region’s natural biodiversity, let them to the founding of this adventure center.  100% Adventure offers four different types of activities: Canopy Tour, Suspension bridges, Quad tour, and Horse riding. 100% Adventure operates with the respective permissions of the ICT (Costa Rican Institute of Tourism) and the Ministry of Health, as well as with insurance policies for each one of the activities.
