One Day Tour Description

GGMV-11

Canyoning

We walk through 2 short paths with the guides to reach the starting point of the canyoning tour. When we reach that point the guides put the equipment on the tourists for the canyoning and will impart instructions about descending in water and how to use the safety system on the equipment. The emergency exits will be explained.  The 7 emergency exits have a security cable for the tourists. The emergency exits are used in the case that a tourist becomes scared or it is raining torrentially. We begin to descend 6 waterfalls with a pool at the end.  Every slope has a stationary security cable for the tourist. All of the waterfalls are different and the tallest measures 40 meters (131 feet.) After descending the waterfalls we return and pass by incredible views, where the tourists can see from the Pacific to the Lake of Nicaragua on a clear day, before arriving at the reception. The guides speak Spanish and English.
