Miravalles is one of the most active volcano of the Guanacaste Volcanic Mountain Range, and because of volcanic activity it was developed the major project for geothermal energy production in Costa Rica. Once you ascend and approach the volcano the temperature goes down and the fresh breeze sometimes with fogginess will let you know that you are about the enter to the Cloudy Forest. Here you will enjoy a short horse back riding and hiking in the forest. Upon arrival to the rustic activity center you will be able to choose between a facial or mineral mud bath, and then take a bath at the natural hot springs.

What to bring: Sun block, swimsuit and towel, cool comfortable clothes and walking shoes, insect repellent, a complete change of clothes, jacket, binoculars and camera.
