After the 2-hour boat ride on the Tempisque Costa Rica’s largest river at Palo Verde National Park, we will continue to the Coffee Tour. The coffee tour combines a series of elements in which the cultural tourism, the conservation, the development of the local economy and the rescue of indigenous and farmers’ values and traditions are interlaced, having as last aim the delight and satisfaction of the coffee lovers and visitors in general. The different processes that are developed in the industrialization of the coffee are shown at Beneficio Matambú, as well as the different policies and strategies that are followed for the protection of the environment.
