Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: San José
Meeting assistance at the airport and transfer to the category selected Hotel in San José.
Day 02: Tortuguero National Park
Pick-up at your hotel early in the morning. An after that admire the biodiversity of an astonishing protected area in Costa Rica as we drive by Braulio Carrillo National Park, a primary forest in 95% of its extension. Have a taste of our delicious Costa Rican breakfast en route.
Also be our special guest in a banana processing and packaging plant and learn more about one of Costa Rica's prime products (subject to availability).
Board a comfortable boat upon arrival to the port and let this extraordinarily exotic paradise enchant you, as you travel along the Tortuguero Canals.
Have a one-in-a-lifetime experience in this unique place surrounded by a great variety of flora and fauna of breathtaking beauty.
Enjoy a refreshing cocktail and a delicious Lunch as we welcome you to PACHIRA LODGE or similar.
After lunch, we will visit the museum, the beach area an the small and picturesque town of Tortuguero. A delightful dinner will be served upon arrival to the lodge. (B/L/D).
Day 03: Tortuguero National Park
OPTIONAL MORNING TOUR: Enjoy nature its best as you undertake a journey through the canals at dawn, and take your best short of a real Caribbean sunrise.
Discover Costa Rican flavors as you enjoy breakfast at the Hotel Restaurant.
Get ready to hike Tortuguero Hill or travel along the well known Tortuguero Canals and have the experience of your life in this unique paradise of magnificent flora and fauna.
Enjoy a delicious lunch at the lodge.
Take your time to enjoy our private trails, ride a boat through the canals or just relax.
OPTIONAL NIGHT TOUR: Walk on the beach and admire the green turtles nesting (July through September). (B/L/D).
Day 04: Arenal
Breakfast at the lodge. And transfer connecting to Arenal Volcano after the check-in in category delected Hotel in the afternoon we will enjoy the Baldi Hot Spring, relax and it enjoys the excellent thermal waters and with the one of but the beautiful Thermal panoramic views of the Zone in Baldí experience of the tranquility and relaxation they are its better company with 10 different pools with different temperatures coming from individual springs and for a nice end day a nice dinner. Day 5: Arenal
Alter breakfast we departure to Arenal National Park to the active northwest side of the volcano. The tour begins with a hike and depending upon which side of the volcano the lava is flowing, we go either to the trail “Los Tucanes” at the National Park or Mirador El Silencio.. It is possible to observe a great variety of plants, wildlife, magnificent lava rock formations and the Arenal Lake just in time for sunset!
During the tour, our experienced guides will provide interesting and educational information regarding the history of the majestic mountain and the Arenal Volcano National Park. Is place that counts with many natural attractions and from which you can watch the impressive eruptions of lava of Arenal Volcano.
Next on the way we will take a boat in Arenal Lake due to the beauty of the landscapes and lush vegetation, Arenal Lake surrounding areas have become an excellent spot for boat rides. In this two hours boat ride you will have the opportunity to see a huge variety of birds such as “Flycatchers”, “kingfishers”, Anhinga” and mammals such as monkeys, coatis and sloths. And lodge (B/L)
Day 06: Monteverde
After breakfast we departure to Monteverde area.
Straddling the Continental Divide at 1440 meter (4662 ft), the Santa Elena and Monteverde Cloud Forest area offers one of the most interesting places to visit in Costa Rica.
In Monteverde Costa Rica rain forest are found more than 100 species of mammals including 5 species of cats, over 400 species of birds including 30 kinds of hummingbirds, tens of thousands of insect species (over 5000 species of moths) and 2,500 species of plants (420 kinds of orchids). The area is acclaimed as one of the most outstanding wildlife refuges in the New World Tropics. And lodge (B)
Day 07: Monteverde
After breakfast to enjoy this close nature contact today we will do Canopy Tour in Selvatura Park. Alter dressing you with the appropriate equipment; the guides will take your through each of the 15 cables and 18 platforms and optionally through our very own Tarzan Swing. Selvatura Park is one of the longest if not the longest Canopy Tour in Costa Rica. Also it is the only one located inside the actual virgin cloud forest of Monteverde. (B)
Day 08: Manuel Antonio
This morning after the breakfast we departure to Manuel Antonio area. Manuel Antonio Park is located in the pacific beaches of Costa Rica,157 kilometers from San José by road and 7 kilometers of Quepos. The beach in the park is a most see attraction in Costa Rica.
There is nature everywhere; lots of white-faced monkeys jumping from tree to tree along the beach. Slow-moving sloths with its lazy movements turn their look at visitors from the tree-tops, iguanas resting on the forest floor or taking a sun-bath on the logs at the beach, you will have a chance to see all of them in the wild along the trails and the beach around Manuel Antonio Park. Day 09: Manuel Antonio
After breakfast we will visit one of the most famous parks and beaches in all Costa Rica and the Quepos area, with the benefit of the guidance and experience of our professional naturalists. Throughout a three-hour hike on Manuel Antonio National Park nature trails, you and your guide will experience a tropical rainforest with biodiversity as vast as that of any other in the world. During this trip, you may get a look at marvelous specimens in their natural habitat, such as sloths, coatimundis (quashes), species of monkey, butterflies, reptiles, and many varieties of wild birds.
We recommend that you spend some time exploring the beaches just outside the park at the conclusion of the trip. And lodge. (B)
Day 10: Papagayo Gulf
After the breakfast we departure to Papagayo Gulf in Guanacaste area.

Day 13: San José
After breakfast we start with Poas Volcano/Grecia/Sarchí. The Poas Volcano is one of the world's largest geysers with an awesome crater, over 1.5 km. wide! The volcano is active, but completely safe for viewing. This tour begins with a beautiful drive through the lush coffee plantations and flower farms of the area. Arriving first at Grecia, we will see the famous metal church, that has a rare and beautiful architecture. Next, we will tour the fascinating craftsman factories of Sarchi; where they build the famous oxcarts of Costa Rica.
Splendidly decorated and in various sizes, these oxcarts are treasured worldwide for their unique beauty. You will not want to leave Costa Rica without one!.
And the end of the afternoon San José City Tours it is coming. This tour immerses you in the rich Costa Rican culture and history by experiencing the beautiful museums and historical sites of San José. It begins with an orientation and drive through the beautiful Sabana Park. Next, we will take a walking tour through the historic National Theater. Completed in 1897, the theater is a masterpiece in art and architecture. Afterwards we will visit one of the many unique museums of Costa Rica. Lodge in San José (B/L).
