SURFING AT NIGHT
We are the much discussed, unique hotel that placed stadium lights in front of our spectacular beach to create an unparalleled experience of being able to enjoy our adrenaline pumping waves into the night. Initiated around six years ago for local surfers, the Night Event concept has grown to become internationally recognized through it’s incorporation with our Quiksilver surf tournaments each year (and with the OP this past year) that we help organize. Most wave toughen of competitors feel a little lump in their throats paddling out in the lights waiting for the approaching monsters from the darkness. When they appear, the competitors jockey for position and then launch themselves like shadows in translucent tubes. Add some pulsating music and a few thousand spectators, mix well, and you’ve got a happening!!!!
