Fleur de Lys is a small, enchanting, discrete Hotel located in the cultural district of San José, Costa Rica. This newly restored Victorian mansion offers 31 rooms individually decorated and furnished with exquisite taste, guaranteed to please even the most demanding traveler. The Hotel Fleur the Lys intimate and elegant restaurant “Obelisco” is well known and respected for its New Costa Rican Cuisine. In addition to our superb dinner menu, we serve a complimentary breakfast to each of our guests.
Our cosmopolitan bar is a great place for sharing special romantic moments, as well as meeting Costa Ricans and international travelers. Every Tuesday and Friday night, guests enjoy our Happy Hour from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with Live Music.

Fleur de Lys consists of 31 rooms in 5 categories all individually furnished and decorated with native artwork. All the rooms have cable/TV, telephone, radio clock, ceiling fan, private bath with bidet faucet, hot water and hair dryer. No two rooms look alike.
The rooms are designated as smoke-free, with smoking permitted on the balconies, restaurant, bar, garden and common areas.
Location
Hotel Fleur de Lys is located in the cultural heart of San José, the nation’s capital. Situated in a quiet street close to numerous restaurants, theaters, casinos and shops, Fleur de Lys is Gateways to many other attractions in town. Within minutes walk of the hotel lobby, you’ll discover the National Museum, the Gold Museum, the National Theater, the pre-Columbian Jade Museum, the 1920’s “Metal School”, built by G. Eiffel-builder of the Eiffel Tower as well as a variety of interesting and beautiful city parks and much more.
We are located on 13th street, between 2 and 6th avenue, one block from the National Museum.
