After building and operating four hotels in Italy, the Martino's arrived in La Garita de Alajuela in 1996 and discovered that it was blessed by nature, they decided that this was the perfect place to achieve their lifes dream. They have personally designed the hotel, combining the elegance of European tradition with a new sense of the Tropics, where flora and fauna mix in a climate ideally suited for energy recovery and relaxation.
The intent of the owners was to create a very comfortable hotel with a warm environment and friendly spirit where a guest can feel nearly as well as at home. The five star Resort Martino is indeed one of Costa Rica's greatest escape locations, a place where you can treat yourself to the best of pampering and relaxation. Standard and Junior Suite
All Suites are luxuriously furnished, with a terrace overlooking the large neoclassic pool or garden, hand carved original doors, ceramic tiles, beautiful woodwork, cable TV and direct TV, telephone and a second one in the bathroom, minibar and air conditioned. Bed setting: 1 King Size or 2/3 full size.
Deluxe Suites and Villas
Deluxe suites include 1 bedroom loft or 2 bedroom (second room dual loft beds), separate living room, kitchenette with bar, sink, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, large bathroom with hairdryer/phone, DVD player, safety deposit box, ironing and spacious terrace.
